Pastor Mark Humphreys is “homegrown.” Born in Stockton and raised in Ripon, Mark and his family grew up in a Christian Reformed Church in Ripon. After high school, Mark attended several years of college, until he fell in love with a hometown girl, named Lisa, and went to work for a Farm Chemical Co. in the area. But Mark had a passion for business and pursued a real estate career in 1983 that lasted for 12 years. It was his pre-occupation with success and money that nearly ruined his marriage and finances. It was in 1994, that God brought Mark to a point of realizing he was living a lie and needed to get his life right with God. Mark and Lisa both began to recommit their lives to Jesus Christ and it was in the course of that year that God worked some amazing things in their life. Both would agree that God totally restored their marriage and gave them a passion to help others who have marriages that are suffering. Mark felt God calling him into the ministry and at the end of 1995, signed up for a 3 year Evangelist Training Course in Chino, California. Through the course of the next three years, God called Mark and Lisa to Tracy to start a church. To this day, their only desire is to just follow God’s leading. Mark and Lisa have three children: Crystal, Craig, and Alyssa. Crystal and T.J. have one son. Craig and Kimberly were married August 2009.
